Following the assessment, we will meet weekly for 50 minutes at the same time, on the same day each week. The number of sessions varies depending on your needs. I offer open-ended counselling where sessions are on-going with regular reviews of how our work is progressing. If more suitable, I can work in a time limited way where we agree a set number of sessions, focusing on a particular issue or problem you may be struggling with.

My fee is £60 per 50 minute session.

How it works
My Approach

My Therapeutic Approach

You may be struggling with your thoughts and emotions; feeling lost, overwhelmed or stuck, unsure how to move forward. Often these feelings are linked to experiences from our childhood. Unlocking this can help make sense of what we are experiencing in the present.

My approach is based on psychodynamic thinking and the premise that our early life experiences and relationships are hugely influential in shaping our sense of self and who we become as adults. We often develop patterns in childhood which can be linked to our present difficulties. By exploring our current thoughts and feelings through the lens of our past we can gain new insights bringing about the possibility for change.
